Dearest Roosters,
We need to make an important announcement concerning Coronavirus (Covid-19) and Red Rooster. After much deliberation and with the safety of our audience being of the utmost importance, Red Rooster 2020 has been postponed and will now take place 4-6th September at Euston Hall. This has not been an easy decision but we hope that in light of the current situation we are all facing together, you can understand this is the right way forward.
Our main headliners Richard Hawley and Asleep at The Wheel have confirmed they are available for the new dates and we’re working with agents and management to move the rest of the bill. A further announcement will follow when this is in place.
All tickets will of be valid for the change of dates and anyone that is unable to make the new dates, please email info@redrooster.org.uk
We greatly appreciate your support in these tough times, but the show and the music will go on.
Love and respect,
Red Rooster HQ
In other news re. the virus Norwich Arts Centre, The Waterfront, The UEA LCR, OPEN, Theatre Royal, The Playhouse (and bar), The Puppet Theatre, Bedfords Bar, The Butcher Bhoy, The Brickmakers have all announced their closure for the foreseeable future. The Forum has cancelled all events and the entire Norfolk and Norwich Festival 2020 programme has been cancelled, while Jurnet’s closes early for Easter after Saturday night’s Cave-In (which might still be going ahead as things currently stand but check beforehand if you are planning to go) and Frank’s Bar has reduced opening now from Thursday-Sunday.
