Halloween seems to have become a big thing in recent years and especially so in The Crypt at Bedfords for the hugely popular Voodoo Boogie Halloween Special where both the Crypt and the upstairs bar were as rammed as I think I have ever seen them, with the majority of people looking quite incredible having gone to great lengths to look the part.
Downstairs the great music ran from about 8:30pm to 2am and it was full of dancing throughout with a really good atmosphere.

There was just time for a brief stop at Bar Tapas to end the evening, and on the Sunday some Funday blues at The Plasterers with Mojo Preachers, whilst afterwards the excellent Morganway were playing at a somewhat nondescript Doghouse but filled the place with their catchy, powerful songs, lead singer Yve looking amazing and expressing the soul of the songs perfectly.
