I recently had a lovely time in a transformed Sheringham for the famous ’40s weekend. It was a real thrill to be here as for a photographer, there is a photo opportunity absolutely everywhere, especially on the platforms of the Poppy Line railway with music, dancing, sandbags, and almost everybody dressed in vintage clothing, it was brilliant! The town too had also ‘gone to town’ with taped windows, music everywhere, and plenty of walkabout, US Army vehicles and passers-by, it felt so authentic and the mood was marvellous.
Here is a small selection of the photos I took in Sheringham on the Sunday.
