My friend the wonderful Miserable Man has spent his customary few summer months in Norwich where he recorded his new album “One Love, One Take!” which is a collection of some of his favourite Jamaica ska, rocksteady and reggae songs recorded, as the title suggests, in one take live in the studio (and in 432hz) it’s a great and heartwarming collection performed in true MM style.
I was lucky enough to catch a couple of his shows whilst he was in the city, as well as bumping into him on his last day in Norwich before heading to Italy, so we had a few pints together and who should walk into the pub but the star of his first video (Radiohead’s Creep) and so a rather merry and impromptu afternoon session ensued!
He is currently at the Busker’s Festival in Italy before continuing his travels which you can follow on his excellent blog: http://miserablemanmusic.wordpress.com/
